Terms of Service

Last updated July 13, 2026

What this is

Timezoner is a free, hobby utility for comparing timezones with friends. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

No accounts, shared data

There are no user accounts. The friends list is a single shared space that anyone can read, add to, edit, and delete. Don't add anything you wouldn't post publicly.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Timezoner to:

  • store sensitive, private, or personal data about others without their consent;
  • enter unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.

We may remove content or restrict access at any time to keep the service healthy, without notice.

Accuracy of times

Times, offsets, and “day/night” indicators are computed from your device and standard timezone data and are provided for convenience only. They can be affected by an incorrect device clock, daylight-saving transitions, or data changes. Verify independently before relying on them for anything important (meetings, deadlines, travel).

“As is”, no warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be accurate, uninterrupted, or available, and we may change, suspend, reset the database, or discontinue it at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Timezoner.

Changes & contact

These terms may be updated; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. Questions can be sent to the operator of this site. These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction.
